Two questions for anyone to help with.

There is some talk that the G20 this weekend may initiate a re-valuation of currencies wrt gold i.e gold will rise in price relative to the currencies. Any opinions as to whether this has a high likelihood to happen, and what effect would it have on gold producing shares, and gold exploration shares?

Next Thursday, Nov 20, the December Comex gold contracts expire. Do you have any opinions on what this event will have on the price of gold given:-

  • The call/put ratio is reportedly very very high, at something like 8:1 is this bullish or bearish for gold. I think bullish, but I am not sure.
  • There is also talk re these Comex gold contracts that some holders of the calls may ask for delivery of the actual metal. Is this a real possibility?
