Anyone else notice how 'short' (pardon the pun LOL) the 'Regulation SHO Threshold List' (i.e. Naked Short list) is now? This list used to be pages and pages long... now just a couple. Naked shorts combined with financial crisis which precipitated hedge fund and other fund liquidations over the past several months... it's no wonder the markets are where they are.

FYI... I know this has been talked about to death but... KXL (i.e. KXLAF) appeared on this list everyday between October 19, 2007 and January 18, 2008 (i.e. continuously for 3 months). You can verify this by changing the 'date' at the end of this address to whatever date you would like to check. This was/is significant when combined with fact that KXL is VERY tightly held... and in the absence of 'signifiacnt' news in a bad market... price setting/manipulation via shorting/naked shorting very easily accomplished. Not as much of a factor now but definetly a contributing factor in getting KXL and the entire market to current levels. Naked shorting... gotta love it. LOL.
