Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Ali,
I'd alo like to add one more point to my earlier post today.
If anyone goes back and re-reads the Aug 1st NR, there is mention of new district wide targets being identified, but NOT to the same degree we see in the updated presentation posted in October.
In two months, they went from identifying these targets to prioritizing them into high vs low and began stripping and drilling.
In two months they opened their doors to investors requesting tours of the property, who reported that there was as much excitement surrounding targets now called "Maki Midas" and "Boomerang" as there was surrounding the Golden Mile.
Although not an official NR, the updated presentation presented a wealth of information about their next steps and drill results that would be coming down the pipeline.
Like Bluehorseshoe has said, releasing any news into this market is a crapshoot. I think its in our favor that management is being thorough and waiting to release a whole assortment of new drill results and target information all at once!
One thing is certain though, the next NR is going to be jam packed with info like it was August 1st.
Things to look forward to include:
1. Pending assays for the NW extension of the GM which showed very think veins with intensifying mineralization (on other side of "golden pond"
2. Pending assays for the GM at deeper depths (down to 600 m, maybe deeper?)
3. Possible surface samples on any inetersting structures that may exist after they began using their advanced exploration permits to remove tree cover between the GM and the stacked veins to the south
4. Possible drill results from Maki Midas that was stripped to 600 metres at the begining of October. This target is hellicopter supported and was scheduled to start drilling end of october.
5. Pending results from 6 km of planned drilling at "Boomerang"/"gold strike" which showed structures with large widths.
Ok i can go on and on, but everyone gets the point. This company is not a one trick pony and is brimming with opportunity for possibly more than one major discovery!
Remember... according to Bryan, what started out as 60,000 metres of planned drilling in 2008 will end up more like 75,000. In these tough economic times when companies are trying to conserve cash, KXL is spending more because the targets warrant it. If that's not a vote of confidence, then I don't know what is.
I took the time to post this because I wanted to remind everyone that our story is a good one, even if out SP is in the sh$tter.
Valuing the company's assets at just 40 cents is absurd! For heavens sake they have a full camp set-up complete with a hotel and restaraunt!
Good night all
