Thanks for cutting me some slack - I do indeed have "PMS == Pissed at My Shares" today. I credit mzsmith for bringing me back to earth - he found this great article on Au grades vs. U308 grades:

gold eagle, on uranium vs. gold grades, & mineability

From the figures in the article, 1.1% uranium ore == 51 grams/ton gold - (prices have shifted since then, but ...). In general, it's actually a pretty good grade. Mea culpa. I still hate being told things are "ongoing" and "on course", but on balance, I have to admit I'm also happy that my fingernail growth is "ongoing" and "on course". Beats the alternative.

Not much has really happened to KXL shares - I got upset mostly about GLD. Done a lot of research on it, and finding out more and more background info how manipulated it is. Yes - you all knew that too - but does it have to be THAT bad?

Here is a fantastic article on the 4 worldwide markets for gold, and how they don't match up:

underground investor - Asian markets normal, NY rigged

Elsewhere (can't find it), it was fascinating to read:

"Whichever market is the most highly leveraged, that is the market that sets the price for gold."

and that JP Morgan and one other bank control 90% of all GLD trading. So the derivatives tail wildly wags the physical market for gold.

I also read the Price Waterhouse audit of SLV, wherein they 1) say everything is hunkey-dorey with SLV, and 2) attest that SLV is backed by less than $1.5 million in silver.

I know Denmark makes some smelly cheese, but really, something is rotten in ...

Why do I care, other than owning (grr) a few hundred shares of GLD and seeing it rot?

The price of GLD / Comex-rigged-gold price affects the price of KXL. If gold shot up, you can bet that people would come to their senses about KXL's excellent prospects.

By the way, I gave fair warning to PaulTiger today that I'm going travelling for a few weeks, and usually when I go all hell breaks loose. Forewarned and forearmed.

Thanks for letting me rant, and being such a great community - best anywhere / cedar
