Jello, you cracked me up, made me laugh out loud, with the stock market compared to a crack addict. Your post is a classic to be posted on the refrigerator! Sad, but very, very apt! It's sad when the state of our land is that much of a joke.

Of course, now that you've opened "Pandora's box" what with the crack analogies (I guess she was willing enough anyways), I'm afeard Protobaggins will weigh in. I'm sure I'll wince with laughter, but it's worth it - we all need to keep out spirits up in this sh**storm.

It is true, as some of you wrote, that it's going to get worse. Little KXL does seem to want to bob up over $1.00, even when the rest tanks. Even SGX is losing their 1:10 grip on us (don't go under little SGX! I'm an SGX stockholder too!).

I have emotionally written off my entire KXL holding, which is a huge proportion of everything I've got. We're all in the same boat, and if we can get back to dry land someday - and I think we will - it will be something to celebrate.

I keep saying and thinking - Homestake Mining went up 500% in the Depression - but first-off it went down with all the other stocks.
