Yes, dmastercard, I concur that not all gold stocks out there will reach such lofty heights, but if we get a repeat of 1929 and the 1970's all wrapped up in one event, gold and silver will get moving in a big way.

We're fortunate enough to be involved with a company where we KNOW they have gobs of gold, and we've all done our DD, so we're sitting pretty. There are a lot of other junior stocks out there that may not be as well situated with cash, or drills, or any number of things to thwart a rise in SP, not least is the fact one has to determine whether their claims of having gold would actually match up with cold hard facts.

So any last minute panic-type people will be running around like chickens with their heads cut off, wanting to throw their $$$ at any gold stock without the cool, collected DD behind it. There will be lots of fly-by-night companies for sure. These still would have a meteoric rise until the truth came out that their so-called deposit wasn't of economic value, then it would collapse on itself. These, however, still make great day and swing trades.

This is all just impressions I've picked up from the history books, and while it's always wise to learn from one's mistakes, it's even WISER to learn from SOMEONE ELSE's mistakes.....
