in my view, we already have gotten the news on this site, first from coach247 with his excellent field report and then more recently from rory17. i really appreciate what they came back with.

There are actually three specific highlights from rory's report, which he was kind enough to publish to this site on wednesday. here they are along with my own thoughts, which are speculative and forward-looking.

1. The golden mile is longer than we thought and it runs all the way into sage gold's property to the northwest.

2. Tory says this Maki formation along the southwest edge of the property is really hot stuff, which has not been reported yet. there is the implication, at least in my mind, that the other gold bearing banded iron formation, at solomon's pillars, may somehow be connected underground to Maki. If you look at the map on kxl site they are nearby. this could be a wowser. plus, since the banded iron formations are right there at surface, it strikes me that this is surface mining country! a major gold producer would absolutely love that possiblity -- do a surface mine on the south side and let it pay for going underground elsewhere.

3. rory confirmed that a number of majors have signed Confidentialty Agreements and are getting free access to information as KXL develops it. We had heard this before, but Rory was a little more explicit about it than I knew before....

so there is the news, minus the assay results.

with all those suits running around the property along with rory, it seems clear that some of them were impressed enough with what they saw to make a phone call or two. that is why this is behaving like much more than a typical recovery-from-the-depths rally.

whether kxl chooses to issue a press release friday or not is immaterial in my view, except for day traders. whenever they get around to it is fine with me.

it won't change what the crews are scraping and the drills are drilling. it is what they do on that site that really matters, and is sounds like they are hitting paydirt.

Michael
