Good post.
I have often wondered how things would play out when KXL really takes off. I recently told my father that it is sometimes better to take profit and sell prior to any deal versus converting your shares to the new company.
I once held Sleeman Breweries and sold my shares prior to the Sapporo takeover. I got a good return on my investment, but could I have done better by holding Sapporo?
Water under the bridge now. In a roundabout way, those Sleeman shares eventually became KXL shares.
Even if one is a passionate KXL shareholder, you always look out for Numero Uno. I hope this is a conundrum that we all have to deal with when Kodiak announces the motherload!
Hope you did well with Gold Eagle.
