After a week in the US in the Heartland I saw no signs of resession..

Now the financial markets are in a mess..we all know that but there are lots of trucks moving carrying goods..not many for sale signs to be seen..mall parking lots full of shoppers and restaurants and shops busy..

Not saying that the people I talked to were pissed at theeeeeeir 401K losses and market concerns but generally it looks pretty good..The US consumer is spending..

My son in law just got a mortgage for 400 grand with no trouble and at very good fixed rate..

So I opened my portfolio and it is still down over 700K in paper losses..

The lowest net value since the revolution..

But the hell with it ..The sun is shining this morning...won $10.00 on the Super 7 loto..my freezer is full of grub..had fun on my trip ..and am ready for the recovery..starting today...

I predict green close tonight..
