I completely disagree, ron, because the example of Sprott´s fund managers shows, that they are (mis)using their position (media etc.) to maximise their gains on the back of the small retail guy.
And what I don´t like at all is to say something publicly, turn around and do exactly the opposite.
And that has NOTHING to do with me "trying to get something on the cheap" ! It´s called dishonesty (to be very kind to them) !
So, for example, Tardif´s appearances on BNN are my counter-indicator, I watch and do the opposite, but this shouldn´t be the case, should it, even if I don´t pay for his comments ?
So my final question would be, why do they appear "for free" i.e. on BNN if they have their "paying followers"?
