I find myself a little surprised how much my own orders move the market around. I don't have experience with the traders' methods of moving the market, but I sure notice that putting in an iceberg (that I actually do want filled) shoves the whole KXL market around.
I tend to buy when there is a lot of hand-wringing (like today), and I just put my bid out there and hope to get filled. I feel a bit foolish for not putting in an iceberg sell at the same time, to make it rain shares on me. Not my style, but I feel like I'm getting an education.
