I started working an office job 2 years ago and earlier this year I woke up one night and couldnt get out of bed because of such bad muscle spasms in my neck and shoulder. I got diagnosed with milde degenrative disc disease and realized how painful a desk job can be on the body if you dont keep active all the time and strengthen your muscles and kneck. Crazy that we share that same experience. I'm almost 28 and in very good health, but sitting ta my laptop all day long in one position is just not good for the body. I sympathize with you completely and agree with Cedar and others that your health and that of your family is much more important than any piece of paper or material thing.
