You sort of have to have a split personallity to deal with this last NR. Lots and lots of great new potential, but actual widths and grades wer pretty low, so what to think?
We know that old operating mines in the area had good grades but fairly narrow widths. There were many operating mines(I forgot the number - 21?) so each of them had to be pretty small since they produced about 4.1 million ounces total
We know that Kodiak(and others) have discovered numerous new targets with many, many km of strike lengths, pretty narrow and most of the time not too spectacular.
With all these numbers you can with some certainty start to apply statistics. To me it is extremely unlikely that none of the targets discovered by Kodiak will not turn into an operating mine. This will for sure set a minimum SP so I think the downside is limited.
One concern I have is that we are finding small concentrations of gold in too many locations, could this mean that the gold just is more dispersed and did for one reason or another not have the right conditions to form more massive and rich vein systems.
For the Geo's out there is there a limit to how much gold there can be in a given area?
