Most of the SPROTT ASSET MANAGEMENT INC. shares I suspect are in fact Hartley T. Richardson's.

Hartley T. Richardson - "consultant" to KXL (presumably in getting them lots of PP cash without any warrants or options), was granted 500k options just now, and they exercise at $3.93, over a goodly period of time. From Businessweek, this is who he is.
(Also noted per previous poster, together with Hartley options granting, Hercules drilling got 40k options on same terms)
We should add this additional good omen from the past as patriarch Hartley potential number of shares at hand is similar to the to the 7,000,000 shares brother George has on hand.

WINNIPEG, March 15 /CNW/ - Hartley T. Richardson announces that he has been granted options to acquire up to 600,000 common shares of Kodiak Exploration Limited ("Kodiak") at a price of $.3375 per common share.
Mr. Richardson owns 1,402,167 common shares in the capital of Kodiak, representing approximately 2.76% of the issued and outstanding common shares.
Mr. Richardson also owns convertible securities (including the options described above) which, if exercised, would result in Mr. Richardson owning an aggregate of 5,668,883 common shares (10.28%).
Mr. Richardson's interest in Kodiak is for investment purposes only.
Mr. Richardson does not act jointly or in concert with any person or company in respect of ownership of securities of Kodiak.
