I hope you are right, but I can't imagine that we are told there are quality assurance issues if there are none. May be both are true. In either case I think the SP has held pretty well considering that it is 5 months since last real results came out.

Lets assume there is some deal going on, and that the results are indeed out, and they are good. If that is the case, why wouldn't they go public with the results to try to get an even better deal?

Time will tell, but it is a pitty for people who for some reason have to sell or get just to '...' up waiting if as many of us think that we will get some fire work going pretty soon.
