I tend to agree that the market maker is the force behind the share price to a point, until an event turns the market for the stock, any stock ,up or down at which time the market takes control,by that I mean..Economics 1OH 1...supply and demand..
After the start of the event ,the MM steps away..his job is done..and supply and demand take over..
I had a very good friend ,tha t had a number of companies that was his own market maker and he told me he bought and sold his own stock all the time ..the idea was to create volume...There are restrictions on Daily volume that companies must maintain to retain their listings..That is the prime "Raison d'etre" for a market maker..Retain the volume..
And this is sometimes misinterpred by "Know Nothings" when they see the insiders selling/buying list..
I believe that it is common practice for insiders to buy and sell teir own stock on some of the slower moving companies..
There are other reasons for insiders buying and selling..some times not noble at all ,but sometimes there are good reasons..
so that is my .02 cents..
KXL is starting to move and should start its climb now until the big NR..A few cents at a time ..Green closes every day are going to be common from here to release day.
HAPPY TRADING..
