I wonder if anyone knows what is the lowest uranium grade presently beeing actually mined, here in Canada or elsewhere
Tau..
Years ago when i first started buying uranium stocks, there wasn't much around to buy...Cameco..and a few Juniors..very few.The most promising at the time was JNR Resourses..
I studied all I could find on the subject and found the Kennecott was mining uranium down in Wyoming at an average grade of .07%...Yes...point zero seven percent,,,and making money..I think U3O8 was going at twenty bucks a pound or less..but huge volumes..Average grade is a whole different kettle of fish..
We are spoiled by some of the fabulous U properties we have in Canada..There are no other places in the world that have the grades that the Athabaska Basin has..
At .13% average grade we would make money today..if we had enough of it..
I still hold a ton of JNR Resourses (JNN) and have made tons of money off it..of course I was buying it at one time at .02-.03 ....I think my average is still only .56
Money in the bank..
