Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
LOL. Flatlander if I could recommend that post twice I would! BTW if any of you would like to switch to Tradefreedom I would really appreciate the $125 in commissions I get as a referral. Now THATS a smooth segue with NO ulterior motives at all ;) haha. FYI - $10 flat rate all the time for Venture stocks under $3 or any US stocks (I think at any price as long as its less that 1000 shares).
No seriously though they have been great for me with a few negative exceptions.
1) Basic, real time TSX-V quotes are $25/month(which most banks offer for free.) But this is offset by the commission savings if you trade more that once/twice a month.
The Level 2s are decent though - $45 for L2s "by price" and $60 for L2s "by order"
and my other negative point:
2) They don't offer real-time L2 quotes on my crackberry. I have to use quotestream which I can't actually trade with.
So although I shamelessly plugged a discount broker for semi-selfish reasons, I am legitimately happy with their service and prices.
Also I wanted to make sure people were aware of them and aren't getting ripped off by Royal bank or Scotia or somewhere like that. I know I had paid anywhere up to $65 or more for 1 trade when I was with Scotia.
P.S - I don't know why I started spouting all this but the talk of online brokers reminded me I guess. I really don't care about the referrals but that is a real thing they have in place.
Cheers.
Gamblor.
