I'm still carefully going through the presentation (again) and the more I read the more I understand why Kodiak has bought so much land. The properties they have acquired aren't in the land package because they're just in the same region. They're in the land package because KXL has done extensive research and have purchased underdeveloped and undervalued properties with a history of success. Now the fact that the past explorers weren't able to actually capitalize on what they had is a completely different story (luckily for us).
Since we've built up so much cash it affords us the opportunity to consolidate all these great properties that run into one another. We can then make them into larger projects with a viable resource. i.e rather than having 1/4 or 1/2 of a vein here and there we have the entire thing and maybe more around it.
I know they have been trying to get that message across for a long time now but until they actually described each area and it's history its very difficult to appreciate what they are doing (and have done). I like having these updates and explanations every once in a while because it really helps keep focus on why I/we're invested in Kodiak. I'm so pumped about 2008 and can't wait to see what the target price is after they've done the 60km of drilling. Should be pretty exciting IMO!!
Keep your fingers crossed that tomorrow is repeat of Monday's beautiful action, or better.
I'm hoping for $2.70-2.80 tomorrow or Thursday but maybe thats a little quick/optomistic, I'm not sure.
Cheers.
Gamblor.
