Deletion of Posts etc.

I have done some testing after last nights debacle (of which I was embarrassingly involved lol.) and have discovered a few things regarding post deletion and banning users etc.

Here is a list of what hub presidents can do regarding mailroom and treasurer users (not sure about the other ranks):

-remove a single post without needing to flag it as a violation first
-delete all posts that a user has ever made in that hub
-ban the user from the hub
-process any flagged violations and potentially warn the user

Unfortunately for me - presidents cannot delete their own posts or the posts of other presidents.

I don't know why it is set up that way and I'm sure there is some logic but I think you should be able to delete your own posts no matter what. Or at least be able to edit your post like other moderator controlled forums allow.

I hope that clears things up, sorry if I mislead anyone last week about banning users. I didn't realize that certain criteria had to be met before banning a user or deleting posts.

I also apologize for adding to the deterioration of this hub. I was simply "practicing" for our Vegas trip and got a little ahead of myself haha.

Maybe after the news show up we'll all get back on track and can have some interesting things to talk about?

Cheers.
Gamblor.
