I checked the ontario government mining claim map and found out that the block in question is not registered to Kodiak but to Nathalie Hansen; as are most of the surrounding claims. Note that Jens Hansen is the President of Melkior (which would jive with the rest of the info on the posted map). Anyone wanting to double check my research can look up claim #4227590 on the ontario mining claims webpage.

That is not to say that KXL does not have claims elsewhere in the McFaulds Lake area, just that the info posted last week is incorrect. If and when KXL acquires a land package in that area, they would only anounce it once it has been assembled.

Although the cost of opening a mine in that area would be very expensive, it is possible. Consider that DeBeer's Victor Diamond Mine will be opening in the near fututre.

BTW, my guess is no news this week due to the US Holiday as well as holidays in Europe.
