Go for it. Having done just that I think I can offer some perspective.

If you think you can go from full bore to full retired in one fell swoop then think again. Planning ahead for the financial implications is one thing but your life still goes on and you need activity beyond sitting on a beach with pina coladas.

In my case "this" is what has become one of my primary focuses. I got hit with the triple whammy (1) Bre-x (2) Techno bubble and (3) 911 aftermath, so when I retired I decided to try and get my money back. I did that and then some but whereas before I said I would quit then, now I find that its fun to follow this and the remainder of my spec. portolio.

Looking forward to that Vegas party but still can't seem to get the board to agree to some trigger price. We are all in different levels but surely there must be some achieveable level that would action an initial coctail party. Perhaps have an initial meeting which would be followed by another meeting every $5.00 increment thereafter. That should meet the desires of those that still view this as a $100.00 per share stock.
