Some, but I don't remember. Actually probably more than 90% of what I read or hear I forget within days, and I don't think that it is such bad thing.
In terms of the 'rational market theory', the value of a stock already takes into account all known information about that stock. That means that all the DD has already been done by the market to value that stock, so in principle most of your work has already been done.
So to beat the market you have to take some risks, of course you can also loose. I think that most people that invest in gold junior exploration stocks indeed are willing to take this risk. Another group buy into these stocks as a protection of bad times and governments failuers.
To conclude, yes somethimes I do indeed invest in companies without doing a sufficiently careful DD, but then again I never complain if I loose money, which occasionally happens. All the DD in the world can not predict how much gold Kodiak will find, 10 million ounces, 50 .., in any case it will be a lot. Happy investing
