Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Good on you, for your notes on deleting "out of order" posts, Investlots.
I agree that we need some more balance on the critical side, and that such a thing can be accomplished by writing in a considered way, as adults.
There is no use here for inflammatory or derogatory language, calling people down, predicting an investor's losses without a calmly reasoned and moderate basis for it, or using ugly names. That's a bunfight for 14 year olds, and we know where that belongs (st*ckho**e).
Pretty hard to give guidelines. Like the judge deciding an obscenity case "I know it when I see it." (which is actually a lousy argument, but ...).
The bottom line is that reasoned argument, as might be done in a quality club, is welcome, whereas name-calling, belittlement, and rough language is not.
I found it unpleasant to read some of Coach247's "come back to reality" posts because it was hard to accept that I'd been a bit foolish, having gotten carried away to the positive side. But not only was he right, he used extremely civilized and intelligent language to make his points. So, they were more than welcome.
Obviously Verypoor was over the line and is useless to us, and Chuckdog is skating very fast over 1 mm thin ice - he just comes in to wet the rug and then runs outside again. Gotta remember to put out more newspapers when he visits.
We gain absolutely nothing from either pumping or bashing. I disliked just as much the posts from drop-in posters, e.g. those in the past two weeks, who could only come up with something like "NEXT STOP $7, WOO-WOO!!!!". Such posts as useless and unilluminating as a bag of rubbish (and I say that as a gentleman). Dreck. They also belong on st*ckho**e.
So thanks for drawing the line - having deleted the odd post myself - and here's to a "solid" discussion on the KXL board - sagely weighting both the pros and the cons, perhaps being a bit more critical, and without any need for extremes.
P.S. A note to the wise - those who peruse other boards may note that we are leaders in the community here. There are posts on a number of other boards that start with "as seen on the KXL board". As as pointed out before, Agora carries us Pro Bono - no charge to KXL (they are not an Agora customer), because we bring traffic. So it behooves us to write accordingly (and brilliantly).
