Am posting a article from other web BB by Aude4. This made me feel better about our chances if we(me) can keep the daily SP from making us (me) paranoid. After all if our neighbor can do this back in 1985 it is my humble estimate that with todays tools we may be able to do even better. Onward and upward KXL Schlongs!

The Ontex Cherbourg deposit:

Impressive previous exploration results;

Strong exploration potential – drilling spring 2008.

Look at these results from 1985/6 prior to lengthy litigation and a depressed gold price, which resulted in sporadic drill activity on the Cherbourg property.

On May 30, 1986 in an issue of NORTH AMERICAN GOLD MINING INDUSTRY NEWS the following excerpts were reported by Metalore Resources Ltd. on a group of Ontex claims near Beardmore Ontario in Irwin Township.

---- “Hole 34 drilled in late 1985, intersected 53.4 feet (1,197 to 1,251.5 feet) grading 0.47 ounces of gold per ton.

Other holes drilled at that time along a 700 foot strike length included;

hole No. 33 which intersected a 32.6 foot section assaying 0.23 ounces of gold per ton and,

hole 35, which cut 24 feet (1,821 to 1,845 foot) grading 0.48 ounces of gold and another parallel zone (0.21 across 18 feet to a depth of 1,755 feet).

--- hole, No. 32, cut 15 feet grading 0.35 ounces of gold per ton at the eastern end of the zone.

Intersections from the two most recent holes drilled in March (1986), have added to the strike length of the densely mineralized zone.

Hole No. 36, drilled 100 feet west of hole 34, intersected wide 87 foot section grading 0.291 ounces of gold per ton.

Another step –out, hole 37, planted 100 feet west of hole 36, intersected 39.2 feet assaying 0.747 ounces of gold per ton. -----.

In both holes, widths range from 30 to 85 feet. In each case, the zone was encountered at depths below 1,300 feet. ---------- .”

On Jan. 23, 2008) - Ontex Resources Limited (TSX: ONT) stated:

"Ontex" is pleased to provide the following Yahoo Finance (Canada) interview with Mr. Armen Chilian, Vice President of Explorations. ------- Initial drill holes slated on the Cherbourg property will be below the 200 metre level where values of 16 gm/tn gold over three metre widths occur with nothing yet drilled below them. Mr. Chilian stresses that "we plan to build resource blocks immediately".

He further emphasizes that three zones in the Cherbourg property average 15 grams gold per ton and likely converge at depth with the known resource.---------------------.”

Ontex owns 74% of the Cherbourg, Fox Ear and Rhino properties, Metalore holds 26%.
