I am assuming ,because all personal taxes must be filed before April 30th that there may be some tax implications to some of the transactions involved,although filing must be completed by 30 April 08....gifting,or tax deductible transactions to be used on '07 tax returns must be completed 3 trading days before settlement date on 31 Dec..'07,so don't know for sure the nature of the transaction..
