Ganalane,
yeh I think it will take time, but not any longer than what it always used to be. I think that these days with instant messaging we are so used to get instantaneous feed back and results. If someone does not reply within an hour to an e-mail, we wonder what is going on.
As you very well know, this is real work not just paper work. With all the activity going on around the world, everything related to mining is in short supply from equipment, labs, people etc. If you want to buy one of those huge mining trucks, I was told you have to wait 3 years for the tires, you can get the truck but without tires.Things like portable power generators are also in very short supply, most of them are in Irak. You just can't get cheap used equipment either.
But in spite of the recent 'boom' these things have always taken a long time. Raglan was being explored and looked at by Falconbridge for about 2 decades. Gold mines probably are a lot faster to bring into production but still even there it takes time. However, as long as we are waiting for a good thing, I don't mind.
When you look at the land holdings, they are huge and can impossibly be explored in a year ot two. They have to focus (as I think they are) on the area around the golden mile and gate, and hopefully by year end we should have a pretty good feeling about its economic development potential.
