Hello TAU,

The article that shows up in the other 2 posts was written by Edgar J. Lavoie.

Mr. Lavoie was/is a high school teacher in Geraldton. In 1987 he wrote a book about the early history of the Geraldton area and the gold strikes of 1932. The book is called ...And the Geraldton Way.

I have a copy of his book and it is a good read - particularly for those of us who spent time there.

If you are interested in finding this book, you would have to contact Times Star Publishing in Geraldton. Or, if really interested, I have some friends in G-town who can get more up to date info.
