Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
I don't understand what all the excitement is about.
The last two sets of drill results were quite good when you take a second to think about it. The fact that the vein is now confirmed down to 300m has added substantial tonnage to this play, and lets not forget that it is open along strike (both ways if I'm not mistaken), and to depth. As the size of the deposit keeps expanding its viability keeps increasing, and not all of it has to be/is going to be bonanza grades.
One of the things I was resigned to when I invested in this play, was that a "nuggety" deposit like this was going to have off the chart results, side by side with mediocre ones, and just because a couple of mediocre ones showed up, doesn't mean the sky is falling.
Considering they have explored what? maybe 10% of the golden mile (and don't forget the crapload of parrallel veins and golden gate, both of which haven't been sampled yet) I'd say it is highly likely that some more off the chart results are in store. As Coach keeps pointing out, the most exciting thing about this play is how highly mineralized the area is, and the huge land package they own around it.
And now I'll address a question to Chukdog.....do you know of any other junior mining exploration company with a land package like Kodiak, and 50 million in the bank to go along with it? I thought not. If you want blue chip returns, invest in blue chip companies. But as far as spec plays go, I can't think of many other spots I'd want my money to be.
All it will take is one news release like October's and the price turns around, and if it doesn't happen, think of all the exploration they can do with 50 mil, and what they potentially might find. It is a spec play after all.....
