Cedartree, you are right, the snow is still on the ground, however it will not take long before the snow melts and the black flies are out in full force.

It is time to get ready. I love the suggestion by Portee44 of having a party at Hotel Kodiak. By August the black flies are gone and the gold has flowered so that could be a great time. We may even be able to afford a chartered plane, since we all can deduct that as a business expense.  Yes, I would love to help out with back breaking work for a couple of days looking for stars of gold, conditionally that the beer is cold and plentiful. (I spent a year in the military digging trenches(found no gold) which we eventually had to fill up again (so the enemy would not accidentially trip and sue us)

I have lots invested and yes I am serious, if we could arrange to spend a couple of days up there that would be great fun and an unique opportunity.
