Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.

Message: Red Lake
WOW that is quite the encouraging post I have to say, thanks burx! At a quick glance it seems that KXL is right on track with what they've found so far(like you needed to be told that haha). Red Lake has really high grades but they seem to be mostly over smaller intercepts (exactly like KXL). Go figure since the geology is very similar on both.
In that one NR (from 2003 mind you) Goldcorp claims to have found their "best intersection" and it was 39 ounces/ton over ~10.4 metres(34 feet).
I'll admit those are ridiculous grades but KXL has already found a few holes in that ballpark with intercepts such as 10 ounces/ton over 3.6m(including 2.5m grading 15.05 oz/t Au) and the latest 5.9 ounces/ton over 2.9m. Also don't forget the countless grab samples grading in the 100s ounces/ton. So does this have potential, I sure think so lol. This is still the very early stages here, imagine where we'll be in 6-12 months after the 60km of drilling.
FYI - after looking through all the drill results in Goldcorp's NR I don't think I saw a single intercept longer than 16m, and this is a fully functioning, highly profitable mine. Think about that!
So the next time some yahoo (like Hodson) says "the intercepts aren't what we expected blah blah" think of Red Lake and how well they're doing.
Just my two cents for the night, with a slightly biased, positive outlook as usual ;)
Cheers.
Gamblor.
