Actually I am planning an ArcBasin (name of my company)excursion this May around the Chapleau, Ontario region. An area I've wanted to prospect for at least 10 years. I have been busy gathering topographic maps, GPS coordinates and mag maps for the area I plan on investigating.
I heard about the location from a trapper, who told me everytime he was in the area, His compass used to spin out of control on a hill by a particular lake. This is too good to pass up as it indicates a strong magnetic anomalie. I found some Bouger Gravity maps of the specific township and it confirms the anomalie. My plan is too spend a week in the bush, and gather samples and run them at a lab if anything of interest pops up and stake claims if needed. Cheers
