Downplaying Caribou, yes based on the assays(0.2 to 0.3 % Cu + Ni) in this report, it is in my oppinion just not even close to being economic. In Sudbury Inco throws away a slag containing roughly 1% combined Ni plus Cu, and I think that even the sulfide tailings from the mill contain more nickel than that. If the grades are consistently that low I would recommend them to spend the money and efforts somewher else. They can find as many tonnes as they want, it still not economic at those grades. Clearly they have a great gold find, so why not focus the efforts there.
