Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
excelent posts recently guys.
i picked up 8000 plus shares yesterday, same reasoning as coach247. there is no telling what will happen, of course. the last time I bought at these prices I was happy to.
yes someone should write the tse about the naked shorts, i had composed a letter but was reticent to send. much worse on other stocks.
didnçt know the indians were selling, but if so then Içm sure they are just trading from a high. I was surprised after a month of travel to see gold at 880, very nice. the indians are very very smart traders, so it doesnçt worry me. the price is still high.
there is no possibility of a US recession. It is a certainty. It has everything to do with greenspan, previous1 per cent rates, and mortgage resetting. so far only 5 to 10 per cent of resets have happned. the other 90 percent, about 25 percent in 2008 and a big block of 40 per cent in 2011. Its on the world bank website, cant get charts from where I am here. so the sh still has to hit the fan. there isnçt anything even remotely like capitulation in the capital markets or the s and p either.
so I invite anaylsis of from others on what happens if the s and p is 800 instead of 1300 or hwatever it is today. I did some analysis 2 months ago, and the history of a recession or worse is that gold exploration stocks dip strongly e.g. 30 or even 50 percent, but then leap ahead by multiples over a period of months and years. there is a very good point that the big miners have lots of cash and access to the markets but very few plays to mine, so KXL looks very sweet to them.
I very very much doubt KXL would down the drills, not even if gold was 400. drilling news is worth a lot more than 50 cents per share of cash. not to forget that richardson bought a lot at 4 dollars, and his style is to make bukcets of money.
my past experience with smaller gold exploration stocks was that they were extremely seasonal. KXL is a bigger explorer and they can make real progress in the winter. but ther eis a natural sleepy period after new years, and a delay in results.
all the positives remain in place for this stock. my plans are for buying, not selling. the geology is sound.
coach has the best take on the overall situation so far. I do wish Içd sold some at 4 dollars and 75 cents or so, but hey I wish Içd picked the right lottery numbers, so thatçs just silly season stuff.
the shorts wonçt short to the moon. they have a risk tolerance too. there are other easier stocks to short.
rome wasnçt built in a day. give it time, lots of time. Içll be reanalysing in March.
all best from buenos aires, and thanks for all th great posts everyone
