I think some people are getting mixed up with their terminology. I believe that kxl would like to 'spin off' the nickel division and the uranium division before the company as a whole receives a take over bid. If someone wants the gold and bids for the company prior to a spinoff they would be getting the 2 other divisions for free or close to it.
Management may be thinking that with the current drilling schedule and following news releases a bid could be coming sooner than initially expected. As I said a couple of days ago ,that doesn't leave much time to do the spinoff.
Once the gold property is sold at a huge profit, they would like to be left still in the game with their other properties which have great potential of their own.( and who knows, maybe some gold as well). If you want to call this a split then so be it but it is a company split ,not a stock split. Rico
