i bought it at the same time i bought kodiak exploration and paid too much for that, also! but it looks like both will pay off now.

alto rose 40 percent today, i think, but is still dirt cheap at 28 cents.

alto looks like a nicely run little company that has three pieces of dirt in the beardmore district, near Kodiak's huge new find called hercules. so this is well placed dirt with some gold showing at surface, in general. anyway, one alto beardsmore prospect is now a jv with kodiak. another is called the mud lake prospect, whi ch is a JV with wescan-goldfield WGF-v. drilling began a week ago at mud lake.

fyi one of the hotshots at alto is jon prochnau, who is one of casey's revered explorers, so it has a little bit of a pedigree that way. 0ne negative is they just did a PP in which they gave away a bunch of stock for way too cheap -- 11 to 13 cents a share.
