Gold is in the begining of a bull cycle by most views I have read or heard. One or two days of retrenching seems normal and other market variables and news will effect the price up or down.

KXL like you yourself said (cedartree) is going to play out aside of the gold price because it is still an exploration play but with much going for it .

Personally, my stress level is almost at zero holding this stock even though I got in relatively late.  I hold (for me) a lot but still have a plus in front of my tally but wouldnt consider selling even if it went negative. 

Agpra still have better, more informative posts with less crap.IMO
