Early closing of PP - opinion

Anyone have experienced with a heavily oversubscribed Private Placement? How often are they closed early?

The current date is Nov 27 for closing. However, if they close before the San Fran talk on Nov. 18, KXL would have a freer hand to speak, and also have room for a NR on e.g. Nov. 16 (if they need to do a NR at all).
