I guess there is always a chance that some player may pull out of a deal before it closes. But I doubt that institutions will make decisions on their investment allocation that are influenced by the day-to-day trading in a volatile sector. They arranged a bought deal, which pretty much means they have decided to buy that quantity of stock, at that price, and thats it. Very unlikely that they will get cold feet because the market is weak. And I doubt anyone could buy up too much stock even on a down day like today, without pushing up the price.
