Divide the 40m in the bank back into the new(diluted) amount of stock.the 40m just didn't disappear; each share has 40/83 dollars(approx.50 cents cad,40 cents usd) of value(in the bank) it didn't have yesterday.

What is more fantastic is the management can plan way ahead and won't get beat up by some paperpusher trying to hose the company when they need money. We could have been whining with say, 80M shares @ .50 not too long ago.
