Interesting Q re ETFs -

There are a few gold ETFs, e.g. IAU.  HBP is leveraged 2x gold.  You can also get an ETF that represents Canada, EWC, that has a lot of mining in it.  But it won't hold KXL - way too small and volatile, and too little liqiudity (shares available and traded).

There are 3 ETF companies for Canada - Claymore, Barclays' ishares for Canada, and Horizons Betapro.  XGD is the Cdn gold sector, big mining cos.  But again, you won't find KXL in there.

Better to stick to KXL and hedge yourself a bit with something else you believe in.  Common shares made more than ETFs, which make more than regular funds.   KXL remains a wise choice.
