Actually, the point of showing the short term chart and the intermediate term chart together was to show how different they look.

Also, my intermediate term chart includes a line above and below the price that tracks On Balance Volume. In this case, even though KXL HAS spiked, the OBV line is extremely bullish. What it shows is that the stock is under accumulation, even at these relatively high levels (4.50).
