It may have been a disappointment to many (including me) to see KXL not hold nearer the $3 level, but as a previous poster pointed out, the drop is less than 20%. The other area plays got hit worse, in many cases.
In fairness, the news release was sort of crappy - shades of the poor Caribou release years ago. It was really thin on good news. I wonder if management had a good chuckle before and after. They had to release something for the show. However, in this case I don't think the floppy release means anything - there is a lot more data to come out, and right now they are only trying to locate the veins below surface in 3D. You can't ignore the spectacular surface showings. Later they will get their volume figured out, once they at least know how the veins fold into the depths below, and THAT will give the exciting news that changes everything.
Of course, they didn't announce 60,000 to 80,000 m of drillling for nothing. That is a lot of drilling, which shows confidence, but it's also a lot of work.
One good thing is that, compared to many prospects that slow down in the winter, KXL will likely be releasing news for months ahead. News in general is good news - and no news is bad news.
I definitely haven't given up. I will look to average in up or average down in further again.
By the way, this is one of the better forums for the juniors. Kudos to posters / cedartree
