You have it right except it was Bill Love, SGX geologist, in the front row and who also walked the KXL property. It is a small circle - so geologists know each other, hence the friendly banter. A lot of people were invited to walk the KXL property over the past few weeks, so I'm not surprised SGX has.
Prof... the deepest drill to date is 70 m. The purpose of the drilling is to determin the angle of veins for subsequent deep drilling.
My take on the mag surveys was that they are actually going on right now (hence cagey smile) but likley will not be mentioned in the NR... the rock between the veins has a magnetic footprint so this survey will identify these structures much more quickly.
