They can talk all they want at the show about any news they want...The News release is in the hands of the TSX The company has fulfilled it's legal obligations.....AS long as the stock is halted no one can trade the stock,so it is a fair deal for every one..

If the news is released before the markets open,minimum 1/2 hour ,then the stock can begin trading when the market opens at 9:30EDT...

If the news is released Monday during trading hours ,the halt will lift approximately 1/2 hour after the release...That gives everyone the same chance to bid on the stock.....that is why it opens higher,everyone is bidding it up...

but it is still fair for all to bid...brokers..retail..sharks...you name it...

and that is how halts work..

As far as the company is concerned, the news is out there..so they will be talking about Hercules at the show..
