If anyone is interested in reading an excellent publication called the "Genesis of Archean Volcanic Hosted Gold Deposits" It is available
at the Ontario Mines and Minerals office in Sudbury although you can order it from other Ontario offices. *Important when ordering refer to the publication number MP97.* As many of you know Hercules is an Archean Gold Deposit.  I bought the book about five years ago and I think the price is around $15 CDN. It covers the Timmins, Kirkland Lake and Red Lake deposits. It's technical but easy to read. If you would like to understand the geology of these deposits its a good read.
