Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
I have to recommend TradeFreedom (http://www.tradefreedom.com).
Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
Trades are $9.95 + .0004/share up to $3.00 (so 10000 shares under $3 would cost you a total of $13.95 in commisions)
-You get a personal agent who responds quickly and is usually very helpful
-They offer a free 30 day trial of their trading software which offers market by price level quotes (they call it level 1 3/4 level)
-They have excellent trading software(if you're willing to pay $25+ per month for it) - It makes up for itself in commisions alone IMO.
-If you trade 30+ trades every 3 months you get free level 1 3/4's quotes and/or other perks for free
-If you refer someone and they make 10 trades you get $125 in credit which you can use towards commisions or other features like realtime news/level 2's etc.
-Level 1 3/4 is $40/month, full level 2's is $60/month (apposed to $75-100 like everyone else)
Cons:
-The website occasionally goes down for a few minutes(this happens very rarely but it is extremely annoying when you're in the process of doing an important trade)
-You don't get realtime quotes on the TSX-V like Royal/Scotia etc, that costs $25/month
-You have to call the agent to have money transferred back from your trading account to your bank account, there is no electronic way to do it
-You have to deposit money in the form of a bill payment which takes up to 3 days to clear before you can trade (so you need to plan in advance)
-Only the downloadable program offers level 2 and true realtime quotes, the TradeFreedom website doesn't allow for either of this
Thats about all I can think of off the top of my head. If you decide you'd like to join I would really appreciate the referral. If you message me I will give my account info and you can deal with the guys who I've found to be amazing. He usually gets back to me within the hour and has always had the answers.
IF you decide to go with Tradefreedom on your own then all the power to you but this is just my contribution to the whole thing. In all honesty I have zero reason for recommending them other than the cheap commisions and potential for referral credits. I just know they have always been great with me and I can't complain.
Hope that helps!
Cheers.
Gamblor.
