I have heard from a couple of BB folks by e-mail who understandably mispercieve that all news releases will be spaced about 8 to 12 weeks apart. I believe NR's, once the spighot is opened, will be much closer together to each other. Here is why, using an "approximation" of a likely sequence, meant only as an example:
Core sent to lab in July + 10-12 weeks turn around time= assay results received, processed, and possible NR in October;
Core sent to lab in August = possible NR in November;
Core sent to lab in September = possible NR in December;
Core sent to lab in October = possible NR in January; etc. etc.
The news releases are not spaced apart by 10-12 weeks because of the lab's back log. Once the "spighot" is opened and the next assays are received we should see more regular NR's on at "least' a monthly basis or better.
Lastly, given that the precious metals mining sector has not yet taken off, as was speculated by some pundits, and may be delayed a month or 2, or 3, good news in times like this might have had little effect on share price. Perhaps no news lately was a blessing in disguise, to some degree. During recent weeks gold prices have declined from over 1,900 to the 1,500's and now 1,600's. No doubt, this has also delayed the precious metals exploration and mining sector equities from taking off. Most experts see gold rising for a couple to several years to come. Meanwhile, PEM has been using this time to add more ounces to the totals. We were told that there was "joy" in the cores not yet reported. Just how much "joy" is what we will soon begin to more regularly find out.
