On PEM's official web site you will notice they have now altered their nomenclature for what they officially now recognize as "zones.
Added to the existing zones consisting of Buffalo Gulch, Deadwood, Friday (with the Monday), and Project X, are the newly created official zones of the Monday and the Lucky Strike. As time goes by and new discoveries are made I suspect there will be some additional new zones added to the 6 zones that PEM now officially recognizes.
So, what criteria is PEM using to determine what area gets delineated into it's very own zone? Could it be that the believed potential ounces of gold in an area justify segregating the area and giving it it's own zone name and distinction? And, how many ounces might they think an area contains before giving their seal of approval and blessing an area with such a distinction? Giving the Monday and the Lucky Strike the same status of the existing zones says something about what management believes and where they are going. More zones to come in the times ahead. Millions more ounces of gold to follow.
