I put in some orders at .43 and raised them gradually.
When I got to .445, I took out all the asks at .445 and there were a few asks left at .45
However, when I raised the bid to .45, they were all almost immediately filled.
Then there were a few asks left at .45
When I put in a subsequent order for .45 (much larger than the amount on offer), the bid was almost immediately hit and filled
There is still a (small) amount on ask at .45
Either there is some market dynamic at work here that I am not aware of (I don't have quotes for level II or for other exchanges), or somebody out there is willing to "hit the bids" at .45
I have no idea why anybody would be willing to give up their shares for slightly over 50% of net asset value on this company, but it appears that somebody is.
The negative - it appears (and they can be decieving) that some entity is interested in capping the current price at .45
The plus - I got another batch of 40K shares at a huge bargain price!
Now I just have to be patient with these too.
